Controlled environment
aki’s manufacturing hall is a completely self contained air-conditioned facility. A dust free production environment allows aki to achieve class leading surface finishes which provide the necessary conditions for high quality printing and surface coatings such as chrome plating.
Controlled and consistent temperature together with ideal humidity mean that polymer processing conditions can be optimised, as well as making life comfortable for manufacturing staff.
The policy of controlling the environment continues to ground level, where floors are coated to avoid dust creation and assist with housekeeping. Spotless shiny floors do not harbour dirt, are easy to keep clean and help reinforce the housekeeping policies. In addition the clean environment can help maintain the integrity of adjacent clean room facilities.
