aki takes a stand at the Medical Device Show 2005 at the NEC. The show runs for 2 days (Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th February). aki Medical Mouldings will be demonstrating their technical injection moulding solutions for the medical devices market. Examples of mouldings featuring innovative moulding processes and special finishes will be displayed.
In addition to their clean room capabilities, aki have now developed a new system to help Product Designers get their mouldings to manufacture faster. Investment in rapid prototyping and mould tool manufacture ensures that time wasted in downstream re-engineering is eliminated. George Jones, Director of New Product Introduction says, "Now it is possible to go from the design concept to bulk manufacture in one seamless, integrated process".
