Working to the Supply Chain and Logistics Supervisor, responsible for managing the goods in/out procedure, maintaining records accordingly and updating WinMan. Picking, movement of and returning back to stock, parts / materials in support of production accurately and in a timely manner. Arranging deliveries and collections, and supporting the Operations Team to deliver on time and in full to our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Proactive and flexible in undertaking the duties required of the job.
Undertaking accurate material and shipment picks are as determined by the given pick list ensuring, first in first out (FIFO) policy adhered to at all times.
Remove old labels from Correx boxes before being reissued to production teams.
Raising shipments online with our delivery partners, and updating WinMan as required.
Safe use of the counterbalance, reach truck and order picker to move and manage stock, undertaking the forklift safety checks every day to ensure they are fit for use.
Ensure CONS is managed in line with the required process.
Working as a team to ensure that all picks are undertaken and verified in a timely manner.
Understand the importance of batch traceability and stock accuracy to AK Industries, and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
Undertake proactive stock auditing and housekeeping duties where required.
Undertake duties in a safe manner, raising any accidents or near misses to a first aider for action.
Understand the importance of the AKI Quality Policy, and the requirements of ISO13485.
Any other ad-hoc duty as required.
Skills & Experience:
Able to drive a counterbalance, reach truck and order picker (training will be provided if required)
Flexible and proactive. able to work under pressure
Excellent attention to detail, to ensure we maintain stock accuracy.
Computer literate with experience of using MS Outlook, Word & Excel and MRP systems (Experience of using WinMan would be highly desirable)
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Previous stores experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Able to lift and carry items as required
Support with weekend stock takes as required
