Injection Moulding Setter / Technician

We’re growing our Technical Team and are looking for Setters or Technicians to help operate and maintain our Arburg injection moulding machines (50–550 ton).

This role offers variety — with over 1000 different moulded products and minimal large-batch work, every day is different.

Shifts (rotating weekly):

Morning: 5:45am – 2:00pm
Afternoon: 1:45pm – 10:00pm
Night: 9:45pm – 6:00am
(38.75 hours per week)

What you’ll do:

  • Set up and adjust injection moulding machines, robots, and ancillaries
  • Load materials and complete tool changes as required
  • Troubleshoot moulding issues such as flash, delamination, distortion, etc.
  • Work with the Quality team to resolve issues quickly and accurately
  • Perform basic machine maintenance (e.g., heater bands, micro-switches)
  • Maintain accurate records and follow quality procedures
  • Support workplace safety – trained First Aider and Fire Warden (training provided)

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter or an engineering background with an interest in injection moulding
  • IMT 2 / IMT 3 / IMT 4 (desirable)
  • Able to follow processes and complete system records
  • Basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, MRP systems)
